The Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) program stems from the "three ring model" and it involves practical agricultural activities performed by students outside of scheduled classroom and laboratory time. These projects can range from rasing animals for the fair, working as an intern at an ag company, growing plants at your house to sell, and so many other options.
-Working on a functioning dairy
-Raising a pig for the fair
-Baking and selling a product
-Working at a feed store
-Starting a breeding animal herd
-Mowing lawns or landscaping
The possibilities for an SAE project is so vast!
