Hey, hey Salinas FFA! My name is Madison Stagner and I will be proudly serving YOU throughout the 2024-2025 year as Chapter President. This is my fourth, and sadly final year, as a member of the Salinas FFA Chapter and I am forever thankful for each and every opportunity this organization has blessed me with. I have shown multiple pigs and even a lamb and have been a part of the Livestock Show Team for four years now and have also found my niche in public speaking. I have competed in numerous competitions, including placing in the for Impromptu Speaking and Extemporaneous. Serving this chapter for the past three years and as Reporter of our Section has allowed me to grow in multiple facets, and I extend my gratitude to you all for these opportunities. Let’s zip up our blue jackets & get right into another successful year!
Hey, Salinas FFA! I’m Regina Lopez, and I’m excited to serve as your Vice President for the 2024-2025 school year. Currently a junior at Salinas High School, I’m in my third year with FFA. Over the past three years, I’ve gained experience through public speaking competitions, livestock raising, and attending leadership conferences. I’m also honored to be the Secretary for the Monterey Bay Section. When I’m not in my FFA jacket, you can usually find me at Starbucks, shopping, playing sports, or enjoying time with family and friends. My goal this year is to help ensure our chapter runs smoothly and that everyone has an enjoyable experience. Looking forward to a great year together!
Hello, Salinas FFA members! My name is Lily Tenorio and I will be serving as your chapter secretary for the 2024-2025 year! As secretary, I make sure our team runs smoothly and efficiently by keeping us organized. I manage meeting minutes, facilitate clear communication, keep our records organized and most importantly keeping chapter correspondence. I am still relatively new to showing animals but I have spent this last year rasing pigs and a goat for fair. I instantly became hooked on FFA when I partici pated in various events. Agriculture has become a big part of my life and it is my new found passion to do much more for my years to come. Outside of FFA I really enjoy traveling, especially to new places and going on runs around nature. This year I hope to compete in many events, grow in new areas, and represent YOU as your chapter secretary.
Hey Salinas FFA! My name is Grayson Abbott and I will be serving as your 2024-2025 Chapter Reporter. This year I am a Junior here at Salinas High school and have been involved in our AG department since freshman year. Over the last three years I have been heavily involved in FFA. I traveled with a group of our members to the National FFA Conference last November. Along with that I attended State Conference, MFE, Greenhand Leadership Conference, COLC, and several CDE’s. In my free time you can catch me traveling all over the state and sometimes the country to show animals. I have been showing animals since 4th grade but have been competitive in it since my freshman year. Some other things I love to do are to hang out with friends, go to the beach, and travel all over (fun fact I have been to 28 states). This year as your reporter I can’t wait to take pictures, capture memories of all our amazing events, and highlight our chapter like never before.
Hey Salinas FFA! My name is Riley Whisler and I’m serving as your Chapter Treasurer for the 2024-2025 year. I organize the chapter budget for the whole year, complete financial paperwork, and approve investments. This is my fourth year in Salinas FFA and my first and last year serving in office as I will be graduating in May of 2025. Outside of FFA, I competitively show horses and dairy cattle across the state. I grew up in the saddle and it has been a passion of mine since I can remember. Over the past few years I have also found my spark for the dairy industry in which time I have grown my small herd of jersey show cattle and work for the only remaining dairy in Monterey County. FFA has allowed me to take my passion for the dairy indsutry and showcase it by competing in SAE project competitions. This past year I was selected as a state finalist and competed at the California State FFA Convention with my Dairy Production Placement project! My goal for this year is to get to know each and every one of our members and encourage them to step outside of their comfort zones to explore all that FFA has to offer. I can’t wait to see what this year brings!
Hi Salinas FFA! My name is Paige Nielsen and I am looking forward to serving our chapter as the 2024-2025 Sentinel this year! This is my first year as an officer and second as an FFA member. A few activities that I enjoy are hanging out with friends, showing my rabbits, and playing volleyball. When I first started FFA as a freshman I wanted to do public speaking and work with animals. I participated in Creed public speaking and signed up for our chapter's livestock team and it took off from there. I got hooked when I joined my first competition team and that inspired me to become more involved in FFA and give back to our chapter members as a leader they can look up to.
